eCommerce Account Strategist

Title: eCommerce Account Strategist
Reports To: Director of Account Services

Role Description:

The primary responsibility of the eCommerce Account Strategist is to manage eCommerce client projects at SyncShow Interactive, including conversion rate strategies, inbound marketing strategies and online development projects with the goal of delivering amazing sales results for our clients.

The Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute client services including, but not limited to: conversion rate strategy implementation, inbound marketing strategy implementation, online advertising campaign management, search engine optimization, social media support & strategy, email marketing, and development project management (including many facets of an eCommerce website development project)
  • Handle day-to-day client communications and account support for assigned client accounts
  • Work with the Account Management Team to ensure all project resources and budgets are accurately tracked in our project management system
  • Support SyncShow Interactive’s social media strategy through blogging, tweeting, and providing additional content for these vehicles
  • Identify current and prospective account opportunities within existing client accounts
  • Measure, monitor, analyze, and report client account metrics and results toward client goal attainment
  • Communicate account performance to client and team on a regular basis
  • Provide recommendations for actions to meet/exceed client goals

Position Goals:

  • Solve problems and provide creative solutions for eCommerce strategy clients
  • Communicate professionally and expertly to clients and with the internal team
  • Work with internal and external resources to manage due dates, deliverables, quality, and budget
  • Think creatively to employ new ideas, tools and tactics to meet/exceed client goals
  • Stay abreast of current and emerging trends in online marketing and bring new ideas to the team
  • Contribute to the overall success of SyncShow Interactive through ambition and dedication to provide top notch service to our clients, and approaching work with a positive, team-focused attitude

Skills & Experience:

The prospective Account Manager must be:

  • Experienced in eCommerce, online marketing strategy, project management, and/or account support (Agency experience a plus)
  • Proficient with Google tools including Analytics, AdWords, WebMaster Tools (Google AdWords Certification, Google Analytics Certification a plus)
  • Proficient with eCommerce conversion rate strategies
  • Experienced with inbound marketing (HubSpot or other inbound marketing or marketing automation software experience a plus)
  • Skilled in statistical tracking and measurement
  • Able to handle multiple projects/tasks
  • Familiar with Magento, Big Commerce, OS Commerce, WebSphere or other shopping cart software
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Strategic and efficient
  • A team player
  • Must have at least 3 years of industry-specific experience
  • Other industry certifications a plus

Performance Evaluations:

The eCommerce Account Strategist will be regularly evaluated on his/her ability to perform to the role description above. Specific focus will be on the eCommerce Account Strategist’s ability to support the growth and results of client accounts and overall account profitability including on-time and on-budget delivery.
